The
Eastern Iowa Airport handles an average of 76 commercial flights
every day, plus general aviation flights such as business and
commercial charters, leisure flights, and business trips.
While many airlines are reducing service to other less populated
regions of Iowa, service to and from The Eastern Iowa Airport
continues to grow, and we're just as popular with shippers as we
are with passengers. We handle more than 36,000 tons of air
freight and cargo annually. The Eastern Iowa Airport is a 3,288
acre facility owned by the City of Cedar Rapids and operated by
the Cedar Rapids Airport Commission.

Terminal: The terminal facility, opened in 1986 and
expanded in 1996, has 106,480 usable square feet, 13 aircraft
gate positions, 1,635 public automobile parking spaces;
concessions services including food and beverage, travel
agencies, gifts, car rentals, shuttle service, and information
and business services.
