Information and help desks
An information desk is located in the central Terminal, close to
Pier C.
Airport Facilities
ATMs, currency exchange and postal services are available
throughout the Terminal. The airport has plenty of restaurants,
cafés and bars; a variety of shops and concessions; and a
duty-free shop.
Disabled Facilities
Facilities for disabled travelers are excellent.
Business Facilities
There is a business services centre at the airport (tel: 410 859
5997).
Car Rental
Car rental companies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz,
National and Thrifty.
Car Parking
There is a short term parking garage directly in front of the
Terminal and several satellite car parks offering long term and
express parking. Parking facilities are serviced by regular
courtesy shuttle buses going to and from the airport Terminal.
Driving Directions
Interstate 195 serves the Terminal directly. To connect to
Interstate 195: From Washington DC, take New York Avenue north
(follow Baltimore-Washington Parkway signs). Bear left onto the
Baltimore-Washington Parkway, heading north, until you see signs
for Interstate 195/BWI. Bear right and follow Interstate 195 to
the airport. From Arlington, take US 50 west to Beltway
(Interstate 495), take the Beltway north to Interstate 95,
follow Interstate 95 north until you hit the Interstate 195/BWI
exit, and take Interstate 195 to the airport. From Alexandria,
follow the Beltway (Interstate 495) east and north until you hit
Interstate 95, continue north on Interstate 95 to the Interstate
195/BWI exit, and follow Interstate 195 directly to the airport.
From Baltimore, take Russell Street south to the
Baltimore-Washington Parkway, follow the B-W Parkway south to
the junction with Interstate 195, and merge left off the Parkway
onto Interstate 195 for the airport.
Public Transport & Taxis
Taxis are readily available from Airport Taxi Management,
located at each exit on the lower level. The BWI Super shuttle
offers scheduled bus services to and from hotels in the central
Baltimore area. BWI also has its own rail station, connected to
the Terminal by shuttle buses, which serves central Baltimore
and Hunt Valley destinations.
